Sunshine Tropical Foliage has been in the tropical plant business for over 30 years. Don and Suzanne Broyles started in Monkton, Maryland with a wholesale and retail plant shop. The business moved to Homestead, Florida in 1980 where it evolved into a wholesale nursery growing tropical foliage to ship around the country.

The nursery operates on 20 acres which include stockfields, shadehouses and climate controlled greenhouses.

We grow all our own marginata stock and discovered and patented the new Dracaena ‘Tarzan’ which has become the “King of the marginata”.

Today, a background in horticulture and sales is not enough. It takes technology, design, planning, performance and a whole lot of love for the business to attract and keep the kind of clients STF is famous for.

We are so proud of our products and our clients and what they do with our plants that we just have to say…plants are our business, our only business.

The wonderful part of all this is that Sunshine products offer an excellent value at the same time.

In 1999 we received the prestigious Grower of the Year award from the Florida Nursery, Growers and Lanscape Association.
