| Description |
| Agaves are sun lovers, and tolerate abuse. They are excellent in containers as distinctive accent plants. Ideal to bring the summer look indoors and take to air conditioning as well as drafts. Leaves form a rosette and after 10 years or so, can produce tall flower stalks. Lurida is produced in a solid green with a definite fountain spiny leaf shape which are stunning in a urn surrounded by sedum or other small succulents. The variegated variety have a more open leaf rosette edged with yellow. End spines can be snipped off for indoor use. Easy to grow. |
