Description
An intricately monstrous form with dark green fan shaped crested branches forming a snaky ridge or crowned cluster of rust color along the top.  It is attractively marked with silver gray.  This unusual cristate form grows laterally.  Cristate forms generally occur from a genetic predisposition causes the top cells at the tip of the branch when growth begins, to multiply at a much faster rate and the normal growing tip "goes crazy" creating fantastic whorls and fans.
Care and Handling

Bright light to partial shade with warm temperatures for the best appearance in a soil mix that has equal parts of loam and sand.  Let plant dry thoroughly between waterings and only once during the winter months.  The most common failure in growing this plant is over waterings.  Protect plant from frost.
