| A tough ground cover plant that thrives in poor dry soil with or without irrigation, produces orange or yellow star shaped flowers even in winter. With usually 10 to 15 stalks per plant, it can reach 1½ feet tall with a 2 foot spread. Flowers are usually held 2-3' above the foliage. In South Africa this plant is known as a "Burn Jelly Plant" and the sap is used for healing. |
| Care and Handling |

Grows best in well drained soil and does not like wet feet. Very tolerant of poor or dry soil. Full sun to partial sun is best and can stand a light frost, but keep protected in colder climates. Deadheading the blossoms encourages more flowers. |
