Mangave ‘Night Owl’

A 2020 introduction in the Walters Gardens MAD ABOUT MANGAVE® Collection of plants, ‘Night Owl’ a hybrid created by Hans Hansen at Walters Gardens in Zeeland Michigan that involved Agave macroacantha, A. gypsophila ssp. pablocarilloi and a couple of Manfreda species. Walters Gardens says of ‘Night Owl’: “Lovely architectural form and symmetry – one of the darkest leaf varieties to date.”
