A small clumping aloe that grows to only 1 foot tall with an equal spread making it ideal for small spaces. The foliage is green tipped in pink for color and the texture comes from white ridges that will “blush” with pink all along the surface of the leaf. Flower spikes have pretty orange flowers. Perfect for dish gardens, succulent bowls and rock gardens.
Most aloe are easy to grow requiring light or partial shade to full sun. All Aloe should have good drainage in sandy or gravelly soils. Although mostly drought tolerant with occasional irrigation, tips of the leaves may wither and curl during hot, dry periods. This does not hurt the plants and supplemental watering will keep the leaves plump and juicy. Most Aloe are frost tolerant to 28ºF.
